👋🏼 My story

image

Previously, I worked in the field of performance psychology. The way people think and behave fascinated me, but I wasn’t passionate about working with people in a clinical setting. I realized that I always gravitated toward digital products.

Cue me stumbling upon UX/UI Design: a world where psychology and digital products work hand-in-hand! I decided it was time for a career change. I enrolled in Memorisely’s UX/UI Design Bootcamp to become certified in the field, and subsequently enrolled in Memorisely’s UX Research Bootcamp shortly after.

I’ve had the opportunity to continue learning and growing as a UX Research Intern with Research Bookmark, and have been able to give back to the UX community by becoming a UX/UI Design Teaching Assistant Instructor with Memorisely!

Through my experiences, I’ve come to truly enjoy the design thinking process and the collaborative nature of the work. Today, I’m looking to join a team of researchers and designers with whom I can continue growing and learning from. Let’s get to work!

Stephanie was an incredible student in our Bootcamp. She always attended our classes with a great attitude, and she also did an excellent job creating her case studies with her teams. In addition, her ability for user research and presentation skills are outstanding. Any company will be fortunate to have her on the team.”

“Working with Stephanie on the UOK Wellness Check-In App was an honor and privilege! Stephanie is an extremely talented UX/UI Designer with an impressively keen mind for user centric research - but even more so, an amazing person. When you collaborate with her - you get the whole package and then some! Thoroughness and design thinking is the name of her game. Any team with Stephanie on it will THRIVE.”

Ridiculously collaborative is the phrase that comes to mind when I think about Stephanie. I was particularly impressed by Stephanies ability to handle feedback and critique on her work, and implement it flawlessly when presenting updated versions. That skill often takes years to develop among new designers, but it seemed to naturally come to her. Any team would greatly benefit from having Stephanie on board!”

Andrew Gendel | Product Designer/Design Systems at HashiCorp and Teaching Assistant at Memorisely

“Stephanie is an awesome collaborator, critical thinker, and problem solver! I had the opportunity to work with her on a project and I really enjoyed the teamwork and iterations. Stephanie will be a great addition to any team!”

“I highly recommend Stephanie as a designer and mentor. Throughout my bootcamp, she provided invaluable guidance and mentorship, helping me develop my skills and knowledge. Her expertise in the field is evident, and she provides clear and thorough feedback that is always focused on finding solutions that have yet to be explored. Her creativity, attention to detail, and ability to think outside the box make her an asset to any design team. She is also an excellent communicator and collaborator, able to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels. Stephanie has the skills, knowledge, and personality to help anyone succeed in the field, and any team would be lucky to have her onboard and learn from her, as I did.”
